Meet "EK"

Eddie Kinloch is a Brooklyn based illustrator and graphic designer whose work explores the rhythm, movement, and visual personality of basketball. He currently works as a graphic designer for theLong Island Netswhile continuing to develop his personal illustration practice through Ekhoops.

Artist Statement

Basketball has always been more than a sport to me. It has helped shape how I understand movement, rhythm, and many of life’s lessons. What interest me most is the way each player brings their own style to the court. The gestures, pacing, and small moments that define their game fascinates me.

My illustrations focus on motion, character, and expression through line and color. I aim to capture the feeling of a moment rather than simply its appearance. Through Ekhoops, I explore basketball as both a cultural language and a visual subject, translating the energy of the game into drawings that reflect my personal artistic voice.
